Broward College Nursing Students Surpass State and National Average with High NCLEX Pass Rate

Students who took the exam in Q3 earned a 98.21 percent pass rate

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL (Nov. 13, 2018) – Broward College Nursing students have once again achieved a top pass rate in the National Council Licensure Examination. Between July and Sept. 2018, 112 graduates sat for the 2018 third quarter NCLEX, the (NCLEX-RN®), and earned a 98.21 percent pass rate. This number exceeds the annual national average of 86.87 percent and Florida's average pass rate of 70.35 percent.

Broward College Nursing students' pass rate ranked higher than Miami-Dade College, Indian River State College, Palm Beach State College, Daytona State College, and Hillsborough Community College.

In addition to the third-quarter pass rate, Broward College also reported a year-to-date 97.12 percent pass rate among the 243 students who took the exam in 2018.
