Broward College President Named to Governor-Elect Transition Advisory Committee on Education and Workforce Development

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL (December 13, 2018) – Broward College President Gregory Adam Haile, Esq., has been appointed to the Transition Advisory Committee on Education and Workforce Development for Governor-Elect Ron DeSantis and Lieutenant Governor-Elect Nuñez.

The Committee will advise Governor-Elect DeSantis and Lieutenant Governor-Elect Jeanette Nuñez's Transition Team as they develop a plan to ensure that every student in Florida has the chance to receive a world-class education.

"This is a tremendous honor to serve," said President Haile. "I look forward to working with the transition team to support our students in manifesting their highest potential. Ensuring a high-quality postsecondary education is affordable and accessible to everyone is critical."

The Transition Advisory Committee on Education and Workforce Development is co-chaired by the State Board of Education Chair Marva Johnson, and University of Florida Board of Trustees member Mori Hosseini.

In addition, David R. Maymon, Founder of Advocate Home Care and Vice Chair of the Broward College District Board of Trustees will serve on the Health and Wellness Transition Advisory Committee. "I could not be more honored to serve in this capacity," said Vice Chair Maymon.
