Broward College Partners with BizHack to Offer Online Advertising Bootcamp for Local Organizations

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (June 19, 2019) – Broward College's Innovation Hub is teaming up with South Florida's own BizHack Academy to host a "Launch Your First Facebook Ad" Bootcamp on Saturday, June 22. This event will teach Broward County's small businesses, nonprofits, government entities, marketing agencies, and start-ups how to promote or sell their products and services through online advertising.
At the bootcamp, attendees will learn how to launch ads through Facebook Business Manager, which will then appear on Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and the Facebook Audience Network. After the set-up and launch of the ads, a follow-up session will be held 8-10 days later so participants can review the performance of their ads and discuss next steps for their campaigns.
"Our goal with this bootcamp is to provide hands-on, practical training that will generate leads, sales and eventually jobs for small businesses in Broward County," says Enrique Triay, director of the Innovation Hub at Broward College.
Founded in 2015, BizHack is Miami's leading digital-marketing training academy for startups and small businesses. The organization has trained more than 2,000 businesses on using online advertising to increase sales.

Cost:
$350 per seat, on or before June 20
$500 per seat, on or after June 21, or at the door
Attendees must also commit to spending at least $50 on Facebook advertising
