FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (July 26, 2019) – Broward College President Gregory Adam Haile, Esq. was selected to serve as chair-elect of Leadership Florida for the 2019-2020 term. Haile, who is the immediate past chair of Leadership Florida's Governance Committee, is slated to become chair of Leadership Florida during the 2020-2021 term.

Leadership Florida is an organization that brings together the state's emerging and existing leaders to participate in educational forums that will fortify their leadership skills and enhance their understanding of the needs and opportunities of our state.

"I am honored to serve and represent this organization alongside so many of Florida's extraordinary leaders, all of whom display a relentless ambition and dedication towards enhancing our great state," said Haile.

As Chair-Elect, Haile will serve on the organization's Leadership Team, which is comprised of the Board, Regional Council members, Committee Chairs from around the state, and Chairman Jim Gilmore, co-founder of Gilmore Hagan Partners, an economic development and government-relations firm.

Broward College congratulates the leadership team for their dedication to serving Florida, and especially Chair Gilmore for his leadership.

Haile has served on more than 35 boards and committees and teaches a self-designed course in Higher Education Law and Policy at Harvard University's Summer School.
