Rooted in a deep dedication to creating safe and supportive environments, Broward College stands united with survivors, advocates, and allies to raise awareness, foster solidarity, and honor those affected by sexual violence.

In a demonstration of solidarity and to provide vital support for students and the Broward College community, representatives from the local police department, fire rescue, the Pembroke Pines mayor’s office, Women in Distress, Quest2Freedom and other community support agencies will be in attendance.

Participants will engage in a series of activities, including attending panel presentations, participating in a unity march with student-designed signs, honoring victims through a candlelight remembrance ceremony, and sharing comments and thoughts during a community open mic.
