Broward College Moving Up the Rankings

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Broward College is proud to announce its inclusion for the second consecutive year in the Military Times Best for Vets: Colleges list, demonstrating the College’s unwavering commitment to military service members and veterans.

The Military Times Best for Vets: Colleges rankings are a comprehensive assessment of higher education programs that help veterans make informed choices. For the 2024 list, Broward College is ranked 162 out of 304 institutions nationwide – moving up 80 places from 2023.

Astrab. “We’re honored to be recognized by Military Times for helping our veterans continue their educational journey as they transition from military to civilian life.”

The Military Times rankings measure factors such as student success metrics, the range of military-specific resources and the level of financial assistance that the institution offers. Other factors like human resources and admissions and registration policies are also weighed in the scoring rubric.

This second consecutive recognition by Military Times illustrates how Broward College provides a welcoming learning environment for veterans that will set them up for success in their careers.
