Redevelopment Project Starts December 13, 2024
Bus Stop Relocated Monday, November 25, 2024

Broward College is excited to announce that its A. Hugh Adams Central Campus will undergo major redevelopment starting December 13, 2024. The project is expected to take approximately 2.5 to 3 years to complete.

As part of phase one, the southeast corner of the campus – which encompasses the parking lot area, Buildings 1 and 2 and Seahawk Lake – will be fenced off, and access to this area will be restricted. To ensure safe and efficient navigation during this time, directional signs will be placed at key locations to guide both pedestrians and drivers.

Additionally, as of Monday, November 25, the Broward County Transit stop will be relocated, with a new bus shelter in front of Building 13 (see map [right] for restricted area and new location for BCT stop/shelter).

It is anticipated that these road closures will result in heavier campus traffic. We encourage everyone to allow extra time when traveling to and from the campus.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to enhance our campus. Thank you for your cooperation during this exciting transition!
