FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Three Broward College Graphic Design students recently won a National Student Silver ADDY Award at the annual American Advertising Awards' National Awards Gala in Pittsburgh.

The awards, hosted by the American Advertising Federation, are the advertising industry's largest and most representative competition, attracting more than 25,000 entries every year. Students Lucila Rivas, Isabella Silva and Alyssa Cacoulidis won their Silver ADDY for their "Bumble Brews" in the category Cross-Platform: Integrated Brand Identity Campaign.

"We are thrilled to see our students consistently excel in the American Advertising Awards, securing wins at the local, regional, and national levels,” said Adriana Portal, Graphic Design AS professor and program manager.

Portal said Graphic Design students have won over 80 ADDY Awards in the past eight years.

“It’s a testament to the exceptional quality of work being produced in our program,” she said. “This success not only highlights the talent and creativity of our students but also provides them with invaluable exposure to local agencies, showcasing the caliber of our program and opening doors for future opportunities."
