FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Broward College has officially released its 2025–2026 Annual Report, showcasing a year defined by strong enrollment growth, expanded workforce programs, and significant capital investments designed to serve the South Florida community.

Published today, the comprehensive report highlights the collective achievements of students, faculty, and staff, reinforcing the institution's position as a premier engine of economic mobility and workforce development.

Key milestones featured in the 2025–2026 Annual Report include:

  • Economic Powerhouse: A recent economic impact study reveals that Broward College contributes $2.4 billion to the Broward County economy.
  • Enrollment Momentum: Full-time equivalent (FTE) enrollment experienced a robust year-over-year increase of 4.84%.
  • Expanding Infrastructure: The Florida Legislature secured an additional $4 million in PECO appropriations toward a new, state-of-the-art Health Science, Nursing, AI, and IT facility.
  • National Support for Aviation: The College received a $1 million federal appropriation courtesy of U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz to further strengthen and modernize our Aviation Institute.

"This comprehensive report highlights the collective achievements, growth, and milestones that our students, faculty, and staff accomplished over the past year," said President and CEO Torey Alston.
