Broward College Back-to-School Experts Available

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL (August 14, 2013) – As parents prepare to send their children back to school, Broward College experts are available to comment on education-related and back-to-school issues.

David Shulman is the Assistant Vice President of Online and Instructional Technology. He is available to discuss the development of online learning and technology in the classroom. Dr. Shulman can be reached at dshulman@broward.edu.

Kelly Walker is a professor of exceptional student education. Walker can speak on the impact of accelerated curriculum on student achievement, student effectiveness and educational issues that concern students ages 3-21 who have disabilities or who are gifted. June Smalls is a professor of health education. Smalls is available to discuss the importance of a well-balanced diet and offer tips to help keep students and adults healthy as they head back to the classroom. She can be reached at jsmall@broward.edu.
