Broward College Ranks Among Top 20 Colleges and Universities in Graduating Hispanic Students

Broward College ranked as one of the top 20 colleges in the nation for conferring degrees on Hispanic students, according to a survey conducted by Hispanic Outlook in Higher Education. The findings are based on the 2012-13 academic year, when the College awarded 1,973 undergraduate degrees to Hispanic students, an increase of nearly 34 percent from the previous year, earning Broward College a ranking of 16 nationally.

During that same year, Hispanic females earned more than 1,000 degrees, while nearly 800 were awarded to Hispanic males. Broward College also ranked sixth in the nation for enrollment of undergraduate Hispanic students with 12,754, representing 34 percent of overall enrollment of students at Broward College.
