- Press Releases | 15 September 2014 | less than a minute
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL (September 15, 2014) – Broward College faculty and staff are available to serve as experts for the media and community and can now be searched in the College’s new online experts’ database. This database currently houses profiles of more than 100 faculty and staff members and contains approximately 500 searchable keywords with additions to come. This database is no longer accessible.
The experts found within the database cover the full range of the College’s programs, including the arts and humanities, health, nursing, business, education, engineering, computer science, transportation, aviation, public affairs and more. The database is a free resource that will be immediately refreshed as new faculty and staff are added, and as areas of expertise expand.
With the release of the expert’s database, Broward College made special efforts to reach out to faculty and staff who can discuss Florida issues, including healthcare, education, social issues and political science. Broward College is hosting the 2014 Florida Gubernatorial Debate on Wednesday, October 15, and there are several College experts available to comment on the debate, election and Florida issues.
