Davie, FL (October 24, 2016) – The Reduced Shakespeare Company, staring Reed Martin, Austin Tichenor and Dominic “Dom” Conti, bring The Complete History of America (abridged): Election Edition to Bailey Hall Sunday November 6 at 7:00 p.m.
In The Complete History of America (abridged): Election Edition the Reduced Shakespeare Company will provide the historical context that is guaranteed to confuse any American voter. Just in time for the 2016 Presidential Election, the Reduced Shakespeare Company presents 600 Years of history in one show. The "bad boys of abridgment" go from Christopher Columbus to Neil Armstrong, from George Washington to Barack Obama, from the Bering Strait to Baghdad, from the New World to New World Order. It's a 90 minute roller coaster ride through the glorious quagmire that is American History.
“This show brings elements of improv acting, audience participation and musical parody to the Bailey Hall stage.” Dr. Dan Barnard, associate dean of cultural affairs and director of Bailey Hall. “The actors simultaneously give a lighthearted approach while giving concrete and informative facts about our American history.”
The Reduced Shakespeare Company has created 10 stage shows, two television specials, and numerous radio pieces – all of which have been performed, seen, and heard worldwide. The company has performed at the White House, the Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center, London’s West End, Seattle Repertory Theatre, American Repertory Theatre and other world-renowned venues.

The flagship venue of Broward College, Bailey Hall is located on the A. Hugh Adams Central Campus at 3501 Davie Rd. in Davie and offers free parking.
