Davie, Fla. (May 9, 2017) – South Florida JAZZ, South Florida’s premier jazz organization, will present its 26th season at Bailey Hall in Davie in the upcoming 2017-18 arts season.

“Bailey Hall offers the seating capacity to accommodate our growing audience,” said South Florida JAZZ President Ronald B. Weber, M.D. “We are in the process of finalizing a season and feel our dynamic slate of acclaimed artists from all over the world will be a perfect fit for the fresh programming at Bailey Hall, which is fast becoming a real force in framing the cultural dialogue in the area.”

The South Florida JAZZ season will feature six concerts with one presented monthly between January – June 2018. Several multi-show subscription packages will also be available that will allow audiences to save on tickets to the South Florida Jazz season and other Bailey Hall events.

“I greatly admire the way in which Dr. Weber has led South Florida JAZZ in creating an audience of adventurous music lovers who know that while sometimes they may be introduced to something new, they will savor the experience,” said Dr. Dan Barnard, associate dean of cultural affairs and director of Bailey Hall. “After all, jazz is about innovation and improvisation and few present it better than South Florida JAZZ.  I am excited to welcome them to Bailey Hall.”
