The Broward College humanities and political and behavior science departments have organized "A Dialogue on the 2016 Election with Jamelle Bouie". This will be an intimate discussion, Q&A and meet-and-greet with Bouie, chief political correspondent at Slate and a political analyst for CBS News. The University of Virginia graduate’s work has also appeared in the New Yorker, the Washington Post and other high profile publications. The event is free and open to the public. This exhibit, part of the Broward College South Campus Office of Cultural Affairs (BSOCA) cultural calendar, explores the faces of this country’s contemporary immigrants through moving photographs. Broward College to Host Florida U.S. Senate Debate at Bailey Hall

Candidates for the U.S. Florida Senate seat are scheduled for a one-hour debate at Bailey Hall on the A. Hugh Adams Central Campus of Broward College in Davie, Fla. The event was organized by Leadership Florida and the Florida Press Association. Emmy award-winner Todd Dermott, WPBF anchor, will moderate.
