Bailey Hall Announces Special Ticket Package for the Holidays

Davie, Fla. (November 17, 2017) – Bailey Hall is making it easy and inexpensive to treat arts lovers or yourself this holiday season with a special offer on tickets to the entire remainder of the 2017-18 Mainstage Season.  The Holiday Special package offers one ticket to five presentations of theater, film, dance and music for $75.

"Tickets to these five shows would normally cost $210 and we are making this tremendous offer to invite people who may never have been to Bailey Hall or not attended since our nearly $6 million renovation a few years ago," said Dr. Dan Barnard, Broward College associate dean of cultural affairs and director of Bailey Hall.  "Our venue is now one of South Florida's hidden cultural gems with a slate of world-class artists that you rarely have the opportunity to see anywhere else."

Off-Broadway's Aquila Theatre, which has been dubbed "a classically trained, modernly hip troupe" by The New York Times, presents the first performances in the special offer with an adaptation of Jane Austin's Sense and Sensibility on Wednesday, January 24 at 7:30 p.m. and Shakespeare's crowning achievement, Hamlet, on Wednesday, January 31 at 7:30 p.m.

The performances continue with The Triplets of Belleville – Live, a screening of the Academy Award-nominated animated feature with composer Benoit Charest leading the Le Terrible Orchestre de Belleville in a live performance of his original score on Saturday, February 3 at 7:30 p.m. Ticket holders will also enjoy Grammy-nominated fiddle players Natalie MacMaster and Donnell Leahy as they bring Visions from Cape Breton and Beyond to Bailey Hall on Thursday, March 1 at 7:30 p.m. The offer is rounded out with a dazzling modern dance program by RIOULT Dance NY on Wednesday, April 11 at 7:30 p.m.

The Holiday Special offer is good until January 18 and is available at http://www.baileyhall.org/holiday-specials/ or by contacting the Bailey Hall box office at (954) 201-6884. The box office and phone lines are open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; and one hour prior to an event.  The flagship venue of Broward College, Bailey Hall is located on the A.
