John McGinnis

John McGinnis' father and grandfather were both aircraft pilots. McGinnis started at Broward College, flying in South Florida right after H.S. Obtaining the FAA PPL, Instrument, Commercial, Multi Engine ratings along with CFI, CFII, and MEI instructor certificates. Transferred to Embry-Riddle in Daytona earning his AS degree in Aviation Business Administration along with an Airframe and Powerplant Maintenance Licensees. First airline at age 23 (whilst still attending ERAU) as First Officer for TransFlorida Airlines base in Daytona beach flying 1950s' era 50 Pax Radial Engine Convair 240's. Graduating ERAU with BS degree in Aviation Maintenance Management in April 1992. Working for various airlines including the oldest in operation at the time - Chalk's. Now back at Broward College.
