Lisa Elsinger
Associate Director, Workplace Wellness, Talent and Culture
As the Associate Director of Workplace Wellness in the Talent and Culture department, Lisa Elsinger plans and produces health and well-being learning experiences and support services for employees at Broward College. She collaborates with student services departments, academic pathways, external organizations to provide holistic health programming. Her work has contributed to receiving the platinum Bell Seal Certification from Mental Health America for excellence in workplace mental health support, an Cigna’s Gold Level Healthy Workforce Designation for demonstrating a strong commitment to improving the health and well-being of employees through workplace wellness initiatives.
Lisa earned a PhD from the University of Wisconsin, and is a facilitator for the QPR Gatekeeper Suicide Prevention Program and the Center for Mind-Body Medicine. She presents at national education conferences on health and well-being topics and writes a weekly newsletter for Broward College. She is a contributor to two recent books: Cultivating Health and Vibrant Workplaces and Vision, Diversity, and Culture: What Jigsaw Puzzles Can Teach Us About Leadership and Management. A graduate of the Leadership Broward's Women Leading Broward program, she serves as a facilitator for this course, which enhances women's leadership potential.
Lisa is a compassionate and caring leader, coach, collaborator, facilitator of lifelong learning and growth, and a community-builder, moving through life with diligence, grace, and gratitude.
