Rudy Jean-Bart

Rudy Jean-Bart is a native of Miami, FL. He currently serves as the Associate Dean of Criminal Justice at Broward College. Alongside his duties of being an associate dean, Rudy serves as an instructor for the Broward College Entrepreneurial Experience (BCEx) where he has taught the Ideation course as well as the Promise Neighborhood Grant Small Business Bootcamp. Prior to being an associate dean, Jean-Bart served as an Assistant Professor of History at Broward College's South Campus where he taught American History and African American History. In the academic year of 2015-2016, he was awarded the 2015-2016 Broward College South Campus Professor of the Year. While at Broward College Jean-Bart has also been a recipient of the Gaddis Corporation Endowed Teaching Chair, Broward College Aspen Faculty Innovation Grant, and the SOTL Innovation Grant. Rudy was also selected by Legacy Magazine as one of South Florida’s “40 Under 40: Black Leaders of Today and Tomorrow” in 2020.

Aside from his duties at Broward College, Jean-Bart is the founder of Rudy Jean-Bart Inc. Through this company Rudy has served as a guest speaker in a multitude of places and has done consulting, with one of his previous clients being The Children’s Trust, one of the largest non-profit organizations in Miami.

In the fall of 2024, Rudy will begin pursuit of his doctoral degree as he will be pursuing his Ph.D. in Business Administration at Florida Atlantic University.

One of Rudy’s greatest accomplishments is that he is that he serves as a Big Brother to Tristan, as Rudy volunteers for the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Broward County.
